The decomposing body of a northern mockingbird laid on each piece of paper 2 to 4 days. In the early stage (Bloat), the body laid on the chromogenic paper for 4 days. In the later stages (Active and Advanced), the body laid on the paper for 2 days due to the development of maggots.
